The hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful medievel town of Alcudia, which in itself is an historical "must see".... Within the old town, and within very short walking distances, there is a range and variety of excellent restaurants, and interesting shops. The Formentor Penninsula is a short drive away, and the western Sierra Tramontana, as well as the fascinating central plain (Es Pla) are on the doorstep. 40 minutes from the airport, and around 45minutes from Palma itself - I would happiliy use this as my base, again.
Finding it!! Despite printiing the map from the Booked.net website, and using Google Maps to zoom in and then print off the detail, this is not an easy place to find your way to! The walled city has many gated entrances with signs warning against vehicular entry.... I would suggest the hotel clarifies the only simply way to get to it ( and it is simple when you know how! ) -which is to park on the Eastern side of the town, outside the city walls, and walk in......

If you want a great location within the Old Town , this is the place . You can walk everywhere in the Old Town, and is it lovely to return to after a long day out. Not a Beach hotel, but, it is simply lovely for a quiet siesta before going out for the night ! Beach is 5 mins by bus close by. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and although we tried many other restaurants in the Old town, this was our best experience.

Breakfasts were good, staff were friendly and helpfull.
Room was not a place to sit and relax, no view. No Bar in hotel, meals OK but a bit expensive. Being December, there was no "outside" area to use

The hotel has very beatiful design. there are in the hotel only 4 rooms with different names: Ibiza, Mallorca, Formentora, Menorca. Location is in the heart of downtown.
The only one problem but very big problem for the hotel is that every 15 minutes churches bells are rinning. So every hour you hear bells from 3 churhces and government. May be it is a problem of all hotels in down town, but we could not sleep the whole night and the next day was lost for us, becase we were without any energy. The secons point that the design of our hotel was a bit unpractice: there was no door in the bathroom&toilet (we had a room Formentera). In the night when somebody goes to toulet it is not so romantic.
